Many times when I am writing about my Ancestry dot com family trees, I mention the list of people on the tree. Some of you may not be familiar with the list of people on a tree.
Today I thought I would post an explanation of where to find the list of people on the Ancestry dot com family tree.
I will use a small tree I am working on as an example; the Agostina Bolena Family Tree
Bring up the tree view. Notice on top right “Find Person”.
When you select “Find Person” you get this new box.
Notice “List of all people” at bottom of box.
When you select “List of all people” you get this list.
Notice on the list, that you have the number of people on the tree, plus the number of hints available.
Also notice at bottom left you have a box that allows you to select how many people you want to show on a list.
For this small tree it does not matter, but on a tree with 1,000 people on it, this box might be important.
When you have a 1,000 people tree you will use the boxes “First Name and Last Name” to search for the person.
I hope this has helped you learn about “list of people” on Ancestry dot com family trees.
