On this post you will learn how to
create a “custom fact/event” for the profile page.
A “Custom Fact/Event” is needed when you have the following problem:
A source appears on the profile page but it does not point to any Fact/Event box.
A normal source has a line(s) showing what fact(s) it is associated with.
To Fix the problem and add lines from the source to a fact box you have to click on +Add.
When you click on +Add you get the following box, “Add Fact or Event”.
When you click on the down arrow in the box labeled “Select an event type”
you get the following list of options.
You will click on “Custom Event”.
When you click on “Custom Event” you get the following box, “Fact Details”.
You will fill out the “Fact Details”.
You will then select the “Source Citations”, to point the fact to a source.
When you click on “Source Citations”, it gives you a list of sources to pick from.
Look over the various sources and find the one you want to move up to the top.
Click on the + sign to move the source up to the top.
Finally click on the “X” at the top right corner.
You will now be back on the profile page.
When you click on the source or the fact box a line will appear that links the two.
The custom fact/event gives us the line we saw at the beginning of this blog post on the other source.
To see why this problem occurs see blog post:
WHY DOES A SOURCE BOX COME IN BUT DOES NOT LINK TO A FACT?

Thank You
This is a little more elaborate than I have done. Thanks for the tip!
